My name is Rosalie Taylor. I work in a

variety of media including acrylics,

watercolour and oils. However, my

favourite medium is mixed media. Using

overlapping papers, stencils, stamps,

paints and papers enables me to be free

in my designs, whilst creating an

atmospheric theme.

Originally my mixed media had a

steampunk theme, however over

lockdown I created the “Nature” project.

The inspiration for this was that lockdown

provided the opportunity to appreciate

nature more closely. Using clay moulds,

real leaves and stencils enabled me to

portray a clear message of how wonderful

nature is. Other themes have included

music and technology.

I enjoy using acrylics, oils and

watercolours and my soldier pictures

were created following a trip to the

French Battlefields in France.

All artworks are available as greeting

cards.

I belong to three art groups, enjoy

sharing ideas and seeing other people’sartworks. Wherever possible I attend

workshops and enjoy learning new skills.
