I am an artist born and based in London and currently living in Ruislip..
I studied classical realism for 4 years at the Barnes Atelier in London and have exhibited at the Green and Stone gallery Chelsea and the Fletcher Seymour Gallery in Barnes.
I am fascinated by the order and beauty of nature, its patterns and intuitive subtleties.
I work in oils and graphite, mainly from life. I work from life where I can, be it from the life model, portrait or still life, as it affords the spontaneity and “in the moment” opportunity of capturing the magic of existence.
I try to draw on the mytho-poetic identity of the Architect in paint and graphite in order to recreate the lowering of entropy afforded by the medium.
Driven by the desire to tell a story, a unique and primal compulsion of being human, to recall my own ancestral experience and carry it forward, choosing my mediums, brush strokes and subject matter to make order of the raw materials available to me to build the vision in my minds eyes.
I am open for commissions, tuition and collaborations and am always striving to learn something new.
