I first started creating artwork at the age of 8. However, when I arrived in the UK in 1995, life became busy with work, and time was limited, as the years passed by, I did not touch a paintbrush or have time for drawing. During the Pandemic, while we were forced into lockdown and my work as a Fitness Trainer disappeared, I decided to use the time to revisit my love for my art.
As soon as I picked up my pencil I remembered how much I enjoyed creating, and since that moment for two years, I have spent hours every day reconnecting with art and enjoying every moment of creativity. Most of my work is on canvas using acrylic medium.
My inspiration for art mostly comes from time spent on my own, walking around London and New York and observing life as it unfolds before my eyes. I am inspired by colours. I see my art as storytelling for the viewer to appreciate my interpretation of life and emotion, and as they keep looking at my work, they see something new in my story and enjoy it time after time.
