I was born and raised in the West London area, although I now have close links to the East coast of Scotland and recent work has been inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of that area. After studying at Harrow college of Art I worked as a graphic designer for some years until fate took me down another route, but seven years ago a change of job brought me back to my first passion.
I am a printmaker, ceramicist and watercolour painter, but always looking for new media with which to portray my favourite subjects. I belong to a local art society and work as an art technician, as well as hosting occasional workshops. Currently alongside my prints I am making some sculptural ceramic pieces and watercolour sketches.
Many of my prints are made using the reduction method of lino printing where successive layers are cut away as each colour is laid down, this results in a small, limited edition, usually ten to fifteen prints.
