Pink and purple dragon bead.

Semi-relief sculpted dragon lampwork bead. A layered aqua and teal straight sided lentil bead with a dragon painted on the surface using glass stringers in the flame. 31mm across. £26

Lavender raked tea rose focal bead.

A large light lavender straight sided lentil bead focal decorated with raked stringer lines and pink roses. It measures 26mm from hole to hole. Hole size 2mm. £23

Toucan lentil bead.

This encased focal size glass bead features a detailed semi-relief sculpted toucan design. 31mm wide. £30

Teal daisy and leaf lampwork beads.

A large set of daisy themed glass beads in shades of teal and purple. These beads measure between 6mm and 17mm across. NFS

Hot pink flower stretch bracelets.

Each glass bead has been created one a time by melting glass rods in a torch flame and annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability. NFS – commissions welcome.

I adore melting glass and have been making glass beads since the summer of 2007 after my Mum gave me my first propane torch for my 30th Birthday. I didn’t know at the time that it would soon become a life long passion. Working glass in a torch flame gives endless scope for creativity and design possibilities and there are always new techniques to discover and master.

The first time my glass beads were in print was in the April 2012 issue of Beads & Beyond magazine when my Frozen Bonsai focal bead was shortlisted for a top ten place in the Jewellery Maker of the Year Competition (lampwork category). I took 2nd place and was published again in the June 2012 issue when the results were announced. I went on to publish six tutorials in Beads & Beyond magazine over the next two years.

I have had my work selected for exhibition at the International Festival of Glass Biennale in both 2022 and 2024. It was such an honour to be selected to take part in such a prestigious and long standing tradition in celebrating the best in contemporary glass art.
